How will i be affected if i get married and my husband then files bankruptcy?

**what order should we do things? we are getting married and he is filing bankruptcy. we want to keep my credit in good condition since he wont be able to use his for a long time.

**He is planning to file chapter 7.

**How will i be affected if i get married and my husband then files bankruptcy?
Think long and hard about marriage. He must be below your local average for pay and ran up enough debt to file bankruptcy. Unless he has a very good reason like cancer I wouldn't marry him at all.

Your credit rating won't be affected by his bankruptcy if you are married or not unless you cosigned his debt. How will i be affected if i get married and my husband then files bankruptcy?
Hi,

I used ';Credit Solution'; to settle my debt and avoid bankruptcy. They managed to reduce my debt up to 58% .It's legitimate.I came across this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:

Let him file now, not later. But it shouldn't bother it either way. You need to talk to a Bankruptcy lawyer.

  • Has anyone had a husband who has cheated and they have forgiven?

I found out my husband was cheating for a couple of weeks with a lady he has been friends with for 6 years. He says he is just messed up and really wants to be with me. Its only been a week or so - but I just want to know that people can get through it. We have an 18 month daughter - if it wasn't for her, I would probably be gone.Has anyone had a husband who has cheated and they have forgiven?
some people can forgive and go on with the marriage, some can't.people who cheat, cheated for a reason, are they willing to go to therapy, tell the home wrecker right in front of u its over? having a child is no reason to stay with a person ever. its all about what he wants, has he expressed any remorse, or shown he is ready to acknowledge that what he did hurt u? or is it just all about him and what he wants. my first husband kept cheating , coming home and leaving again, i finally had to decide if this was the man i wanted to spend eternity with. i divorced him the home wrecker married him, and got cheated on constantly. don't forgive if he isn't remorseful, or not willing to talk about it.Has anyone had a husband who has cheated and they have forgiven?
I think what the other person said about your daughter being young and not being as affected by it is true. I was about 2 when my parents divorced and I don't remember it at all, so I think I was able to avoid the types of guilty feelings that some kids have. If you do decide to leave then it is best to do it when your child is young. I would want to speak with the woman and make sure that he is telling the truth about how long this was going on. If he is still lying then you cannot move forward. I cheated on my husband one time and we are still together trying to work things out. I don't know why he forgave me, we don't have any kids together yet, but it has been very difficult. He really let me know how much it hurt him and I am one hundred percent certain that I will never do that again. Your husband may realize that he made a mistake and be truly sorry, but it he has to start being honest about it.
Never stay in a relationship for the sake of children. They grow up and move away and what do you have left then? As to your question, yes I caught my husband cheating after 10 years of marriage. I forgave him for the sake of my children and because I truly loved him. Six years later he left me for another woman. Ask yourself if you can really forgive and forget and if you are willing for him to maybe do it again. If it happened once and they get away with it what's to stop them the next time. I would also be concerned with this 6 years knowing this woman. Can you be truly sure that it was only a couple of weeks?
It is possible, if he's willing to go to counselling, and work through the issues and totally leave the past behind and recommit to the marriage- but can he? and will he?, or is it until another woman who comes along and catches his attention.. You have an 18 month old together and need to put her first whatever happens. She will need to spend time with her dad to help her be a well balanced child, whether you split or stay together. At this time you need to surround yourself with family and friends and mothers from your mothers group/play group etc to help support you through this time, and if you decide to move on, you have a strong support network...take care.
Why would you want to stay with some one who disrespected you like that I don't care if you have ten children, He broke his marriage vows to you and to God. Your daughter is young, and she'll never know the difference, he can still see her. Once a cheater always a cheater. I've been there with two daughters. It was very hard but I lived through it and so can you. You'll never be able to trust him again. You'll always wonder where he is why is he late, is he with her? One week two weeks or two hours he still cheated on you. Get some back bone and leave. Believe me it will happen again.
my wife well at that time we were dating found me cheating on her it was a really hard time i loved her and im still in love with her after that we talked we past like 3 or 4 month really bad but i showed her that it was a mistake and that i really wanted to be with her 2 years later we got married and now we have almost 2 years married and we havent had any problems so far....so yes a man can change!!!
I forgave my husband when he cheated. BIG MISTAKE!! He did it again and again. I finally worked up the nerve to leave him.

I stayed because I was pregnant. And I didn't want to be a single mom.

Now I realize that you shouldn't stay with someone because of kids.

If in your heart you can forgive him..and trust him again. Then maybe it can work.

But if you can't do that, you shouldn't stick around.

    Good Luck
it can be worked out again he just needs to earn his trust back the hard way..dont let him off easy either.. and the friend of 6 years would be history!
    Time to hit the road
Why do you all find the excuse ';I stay for the child';?It's the fear of solitude .
listen to jimbo. for ur own good.

How would you feel about sleeping in the same bed that your partner slept in with their ex wife/husband?

I just started to think about this...I'm ';sleeping'; in the same bed that my boyfriend slept in with his ex wife for years. Is this weird? How would you feel about sleeping in the same bed that your partner slept in with their ex wife/husband?
I wouldn't like it at all. I would need new sheets and a new mattress, bare minimum. How would you feel about sleeping in the same bed that your partner slept in with their ex wife/husband?
Who slept in the bed before me wouldn't matter unless they died and were left in for days. I'm not sure why you feel weird. You're a girlfriend not a wife. Why would there be a need to buy a new bed and why wouldn't you be the one to offer to buy the new bed, since you're the one with the problem?

If you guys were moving from one place to another together, then I'd fully see your point. But I don't even see how you vote counts at this point.
An ex girlfriend of a few months wouldn't be so horrible but an ex wife of years is beyond the line... just start saying you are having back problems every morning after you wake up and then one night just go sleep on the couch. The next morning tell him you guys should go look at new beds... IF you dont want to confront him about it.. If you don't mind confronting him... do so right away
It's a piece of furniture - Who cares? It's the relationship you have now that counts.

*I honestly don't understand some of these responses. How can you be perfectly OK with the fact that your partner had sex with someone else, but you harbor ill feelings about the inanimate object on which they did it??
For heaven's sake. It's just a bed. Would you also not drive in the same car? Walk down the same street? Watch the same TV?

It's just a thing. It doesn't have anything at all to do with the relationship between two people. Relax.
As a girlfriend, not too weird. If you marry him, get a new bed then,

Think about other guys you have been with, would you have them replace their bed just because they slept with other girls in it?

It's not cheap to replace good beds.
Think of it this way. How expensive is it to replace a bed set because you feel the bed has better memories of the past, than thinking how many new memories you can make on this bed in the future.
It happens. It happened with my new wife and ex-wife. When someone gets divorced or seperated, ';buy a new mattress'; really isn't on top of their to-do list.
Make sure you have new sheets! Not weird; frugal! I know 2 women who are second wives, living in the house their hubby picked out with his first wife.
Interesting question. I would not be happy doing that at all, infact, i really couldn't go anywhere near the bed let alone sleep in it. Demand a new bed!!!!
Just don't think about all the times they did it on the kitchen table, then.

Everyone has a past, honey. There's no sense rebuilding your life from scratch every time a relationship ends.
Based on how my husband's ex is, I'd want it disinfected thoroughly before I even touched it.
I'd have serious issue wit it.
Compared to the fact that he had sex with another the bed in nothing.
Nah, I think my wife banged a couple of guys in the bed that we sleep in before we were married.
I dont think I could do that.I would either go get a new bed or just quit thinking about it so much.cause if you really think about it who else has slept on that bed?
It would feel soo weird if I did that, I would want a whole new bed.
We got rid of the bed my husband had with his x!
    no its not...get a new bed !
I wouldn't care I guess because I am a man. I would just ask if we could order a new bed if you don't like the situation.
    I would demand a new bed! That's horrible! Good Luck = ]
I know what your saying my ex husband lets his girlfriend sleep in the bed we had if it were me i would buy a new one.
I can see how it would freak some people out. I would probably get a mattress pad and some new sheets, though.
    It's just a damn bed.

    Get over it.

    Good Luck!
Buy a new bed, then. I wouldn't really care.
I would get a whole new bed. I wouldn't be able to sleep or do anything else in it.
    It's just a bed.
very weird get a new bed.
OH - HELL no! No chance at all!! Everything must start fresh! That is just not right!
    no its just a bed.
i could care less, its just a bed. Just get new sheets and spray that bt!ch down with lysol if it bothers you that bad

Its Friday and my husband is in ';Rare Form'; does your sweetie do the same when friday comes around?

Act like a moron? Its Friday and my husband is in ';Rare Form'; does your sweetie do the same when friday comes around?
I put in my backup dentures on Friday. Its Friday and my husband is in ';Rare Form'; does your sweetie do the same when friday comes around?
No, he can really hold his alcohol.......BUT, you should see the neighbors every Friday night......and they're always calling the cops on each other when they're drunk.....they can't handle their booze, LOL!
I have to confess I did when I was younger, but generally payed for it on Saturday mornings, swearing that it would be the last time.
I would be super bouncy happy if I only had a nice sexy female to bounce with.
IDK but my ex girlfriend was pretty horny and drunk most Friday nights
Aw, I thought you were gonna get some for a change. Sorry he's not showing that kind of form.
    Not any more.
No but I do,,,,,,,,,,I like to get drunk and shoot my guns wildly in the air

    ';Rare Form'; yep thats me
    yeah, for some reason.....
I wish it were only once a week

What would you do if you discovered your sister's boyfriend/husband was beating her?

If your sister was being victimized in a physically abusive relationship, would you intervene? What would you do?

This happned to a friend's sister, and he caught up with and beat the guy into a coma...What would you do if you discovered your sister's boyfriend/husband was beating her?
You should always report abuse to someone that can help like a local organization for women even if this person tells you not to.What would you do if you discovered your sister's boyfriend/husband was beating her?
i would try to talk to her. she might not be very happy or want to discuss it with you/me
In this case, violence begets violence. While I understand the hurt and the outrage, it did not fix the problem, only made it worse.

Offering to help the victim is a relatively peaceful action. Sometimes the victim is not willing to leave the situation. Just stand by them and be there to pick up the pieces.
My gut feeling and instinct would be to defend my sister and beat the crap out of the guy... HOWEVER, that is not the right way to go about this sort of situation.

Your sister needs to get out and get out fast. The husband does however, need to know that she has family backing her and that if he lays a finger on her again things will get ugly.

If it was me personally I'd confront him without getting physical and after the first warning, if he laid a finger on her I'd probably beat him silly.
I believe if you know about it and do nothing, then you are just as guilty for letting it continue to happen. No one deserves to be abused, whether you are married to that person, dating, or if you are a child.
its not good to get involved. get legal involvement , you get involved you go to jail , i go to the park, i see a girl and guy fighting , a guy comes to save her ., she starts hitting him , her bf starts hitting him, 2 a pair 3 a crowd,
I gues that is one way to handle the situation. Me, I would

have talked the sister into leaving the bum and pressing charges.
    Call the cops.
I would probably beat him aswell. Or maybe call the police...

If I beat him, I wouldn't go that far so he went into a coma though.
I'd call the cops and get her the hell out.
man ill get all mi uncles on that fool and get her the heck out of there ur freinds sister brother did the right thing best of luck m360
id call the cops and if i had sister i wld call all my male family members 2 F*** HIM UP!!!! im very protective i dont have any siblings but i have little cousins n if that happened to them i wld FIGHT the boy myself
This is a really tough situation.

The decision to leave the relationship has to be hers.

The best thing you can do is to give her information on domestic violence and her alternatives, and to make sure she knows she has your love (always).

The only time you can call the cops is if you are there when the violence is occurring.

Do NOT take matters into your own hands regarding the abuser. You'll end up in jail.
I would do absolutely nothing, Nothing at all and I am a Jim Hardy, Sometimes it takes something like this to show the woman what a mess she has got herself into. But if he done it in front of me then I would put him down for a long long time because I would think that he is taking me for a c.nt
I'm very protective of my family. I'd probably beat him up, and then tell him to never come around her again.
If you know for sure that he is beating her, then... I'd say get the police involved. You should do something before it goes too far. I would if it were me...
I would advice my sister to go to the GP to talk. I would also advice counselling for both my sister and her boyfriend.

The boyfriend can be offered help such as anger management classes etc.

If the boyfriend does not accept help for his problem tell the police.

If my sister was very unhappy, it will be best to leave her partner.
    I would absolutely intervene!

Take the sister from the home while the husband is away, then call the cops.

While it is tempting to seek revenge, don't stoop to their level. Just let them rot in a jail cell! Someone of their caliber certainly aren't worth getting yourself in trouble over.
So now your friend is going to face assault charges, that means not only did your friend's sister's husband /boyfriend attacked her and she has to live with that pain but she has to live with the pain of knowing her brother is going to go to prison as well. If it were me, I would advise her to get out of the relationship, I would let her know that I would be going to the authorities with what I knew and I would advise her to press charges when the police came to arrest him,I would let her know that I was behind her all the way and would help her as best I could I would in no way get physical with this guy because of the fact that he CAN and probably will turn the tables on me and I'd wind up in jail leaving my sister once again vulnerable while he walked away only to beat her up some more.
Id beat the uck out of the son of a itch in my head but get help in reality because getting a guy to go to jail for years is better than having him live free...just make sure to get prof

My mother was beaten by the man we were living with and after we finally got out of there...she was scared and hasn't dated since....that was 9 or 10 years ago.
Yes, I would have to intervene because if he killed her then I would be as guilty as he would because I knew about it beforehand and didn't do anything to stop it. She needs to get out of that relationship and find someone that will truly love her, because its evident he doesn't

What's better? My husband and I are trying to conceive and I have heard different opinions.?

I have heard two different thoughts about trying to conceive...which one is true? I have heard that you have better odds having sex everyday during the days before ovulation as well as on the day you ovulate, but I have also heard that it is best to have sex every other day because his sperm count will be drastically reduced. What's better? I have no reason to believe that my husband's sperm count is low to begin with. Thanks =)What's better? My husband and I are trying to conceive and I have heard different opinions.?
its both which ever you prefer...each ejaculation has about a million spermies and sex once a day wont change that. Many doctors tell you to have sex everyday if you have enough stamina...and to increase your chances have sex every other day after your period ends and then once its about 3-5 days before your ovulation have sex everday til 1 or 2 days after if you guys dont have enough stamina every other day works fine too... one thing to always remember when TTC is to have fun many couples make sex a chore when TTC sex should never be a chore its supposed to be fun. me and my hubby tried for 4 monthes then we decided we werent really ready and stopped ';trying'; (still didnt use protection) now i think we're pregnant. (currently a day and a half late for AF (aunt flow) wasnt really expecting it to happen tho. What's better? My husband and I are trying to conceive and I have heard different opinions.?
A lot of it depends on if you know your system or are willing to spend the money on test kits so you know when you ovulate. For the first method you really need to know when you ovulate because if you are off by too much you will miss the window for conception. I personally like to have sex every two or three days. That way I know I will not miss the conception window. Sperm will live in a woman's body for 3 - 5 days(I think) so sex every 2 - 3 days should keep the sperm count up in the body so when ovulation happens the sperm is there ready to fertilize it.

That was what I did when I conceived my first. I'm now TTC #2
having sex on a regular basis (every three days) will help your chances. when people begin to TRY to get pregnant, you are not so much enjoying the sex as you are more so beginning to think of it as a job, therefore your chances of conceiving are lower. Have sex for the bond of love the two of you share, do not have sex to conceive.

    hope this helps.
Sorry to go out of topic but hmm... well, few weeks back when I was having my hair done at the saloon, I was reading the babyTalk (from the U.S) magazine.

They wrote a review and recommended this website to TTC (trying to conceive) ladies.

They will teach you on eliminating fertility issues even if you're:

    late 30s or 40's

    have endometriosis

    have tubal obstruction

    have ovarian cysts or ';lazy ovaries';

without resorting to IVF or IUI procedures or drugs like clomid, fertilid, preseed

when you are TTC, the frequency should be more...I would say alternative days insead of every other day. Every woman has a fertil period of atleast 2 weeks. I would suggest you Bd atleast 9-10 days during the time. But remember whenever uyou do it, do it without any stress. Some couples esp. the males feel that they are baby dispensing machines if done everyday. TTC should be fun not a routine. Gudluc to u
First of all, since i know my cycle, its about 32 days and half of 32 is 16...cuz they say 2 wks after ur period, so i started on day 10,11,skipped 12,sex on 13,skipped 14, sex 15 16...thats what i did..and im now preggers,.....by the way...

i started ttc in january of this year, i went out and bought ovulation kits, sperm friendly lubes, nothing! 2 Months straight! always got my period,i was soo bummed!!! 3rd month i used non of that but still failed..and 4th i got a hugeeee surprise!! 2 days before my 24th birthday i found out i am pregnanttt.....good luck
I'm going to say every other day because we ttc for 7 months and this last month we BD about every other day during the fertile days instead of every day or almost every day and I got a BFP this time.
My husband and I had sex every day 4-5 times a day for 2 weeks lol but we only had 2 weeks before he was deployed to afghanistan so...but we did get pregnant during that time.
Huh... Interesting question. I have heard those as well and I really dont know which is true. Got me thinking though :D
my ob/gyn told me every other day.
