Ok well my husbands ex has agreed to split custody to my step daugher anyways I was just wondering if he had to go to court or they both could just sign the motion and get it notorized ( i cant spell ) and I was wonderinh how Mediation worked ?How would my husband go about filing for split custody when the mother agrees to it ?
Getting a signed and notarized document is good as long as you file it with the court in the state (or city) where you live. If you don't (as I found out) its just a piece of paper with pretty signatures on it.
