If a women hit her husband can the husband hit her back?

If a girl slaps her husband/boyfriend, then the husband/boyfriend punches her back, is that justified act??

I know that women get away with this a lot think the husband can not lay a hand on them.If a women hit her husband can the husband hit her back?
No, A man must never hit a woman,

Unless she coming at you with a knifeIf a women hit her husband can the husband hit her back?
You'd better have a talk with these women whom you know who ';get away with'; this: striking someone with the intent to injure, or often even TOUCHING someone without permission is called battery, and it is ALWAYS a misdemeanor crime, regardless of the gender of either person involved. Retaliation (';You hit me first!';) is no excuse; it's just the way five-year-olds try to justify their behavior when they fight. It didn't work when *you* were five, did it?

For that matter, you should also have a talk with the boyfriends and husbands of these women: ';domestic abuse'; is most often a man hitting a woman, but you might be surprised by how often it happens the other way around; that's why it's called ';domestic abuse'; and not ';wife-beating'; as it once was. Men *tend to be* more physically aggressive than women, *tend to be* stronger, and *tend to be* more embarrassed or otherwise unwilling to report being ';beaten up'; by a woman, but it does happen. A husband may not ';lay a hand on'; his wife (or anyone, male or female, for any reason), but a wife may not ';lay a hand on'; him, either. Our culture tends to rate the first act as ';worse than'; the other, but the law says that both acts are equally wrong, and it doesn't matter who ';started it';.
