Mt daughter is 5 and she is acting scared of my husband and her father?

she is very mature and Intelligent for her age and she cowers around her dad. i have asked him and he says he knows nothing. i don't trust him completely but he has never hurt her of my other children. he has a history of threatening other adults but not while i have known him. she refuses to tell me a thing.Mt daughter is 5 and she is acting scared of my husband and her father?
i agree with the computer

maybe he really did something to her that makes her scared to tell you. hopefully not.

i really would put a small recording camera in the room where he spends the most time with her, and when he leaves you would be able to see if he did something to her that makes her scared and refusing to tell you .

if you dont trust him that follow your maternal instincts. if he did something to her, he would tell her not to tell you.

however if your camera records if he did something to her. you have the proof that he was lying . remember mothers are everything the protector the provider while dads are for playing , killing spiders etc

I'm puzzled why you are with a man you, 'don't trust completely'? You either do or you don't? I would encourage talking to her when he is nowhere around, if there is a change in her behaviour It might be a good idea for her to see a counsellor. It could be completely harmless, maybe he shouted at her or something recently and he doesn't want to tell you in case your angry with him or perhaps she's seen your husband fighting with someone and now she is scared of males? Whatever you do, don't jump to conclusions and certainly never accuse till you are sure
Hook up a secret camera in a central location of your home. Don't make it visable but make sure it gets a wide shot of your home. Leave your daughter at home with your husband and record the entire time. When he leaves and you're by yourself play through what you recorded to see if he's doing anything bad.
please listen to me.

this is something very very serious.

i have heard that some security companies have hidden cameras in teddy bears eyes that you can get. please, just place a device in each room when you are not there and observe what happens. Do this a few times, not just once.

you know something is wrong, why would a young child be afraid like that? i hope you do listen to us who are telling you to put hidden cameras up!
