Why is it my husband Falls asleep after sex?

OK i am 29 weeks pregnant with twins and everything. And my husband can not get enough of me he has become super turned on bye my body. But for some reason after sex he just rolls over and goes to sleep. I don't get why he dose this. I mean i just want him to hold me for a little bit. I have tried talking to him about it but he just says he feels super sleepy after words and just wants to sleep. Why is this? Advise?Why is it my husband Falls asleep after sex?

Hes really just tired. Don't be overly sensitive to this because it isn't anything personal. Sometimes men get really tired after sex. It's alot of work to thrust and pleasure. Imagine if you were doing all the ';on top'; work...you would be tired too. Just because he doesn't hold you it doesn't mean that the sex was less appreciated, fun or your less loved. Just mention it to him that you would like him to make an effort to spoon you after your finished. This will give you the cuddles you want and also lets him fall asleep while hes holding you. Perfect!
I cant give you the correct terms, but if you read online you'll see what Im talking about. Chemicals are released in the brain after sex however, they are different for males and females. For the men, it makes them tired so after sex they could have a great night sleep where as a female may actually feel more awake and have a hard time falling to sleep. Either you need to accept this, as he cant help it or try spooning him.
Hm are you having sex very late at night? does he have work in the morning? Sex is a work out and if it's late I could understand, but if he's that tired he should hold you and sleep while holding you, not roll over. Tell him next time you want him to hold you while you sleep. My husband makes an effort to hold me and talk to me afterwards...sometimes if it's late he hold me and falls asleep while holding me but he never just turns over...talk this over with him...tell him it would make you feel better.

Sex takes TONS of energy. When you are done, you feel tired, and some go straight to sleep. It happens to women too. It's nothing bad, he just used up all of his energy and now he needs to sleep to gain it back.





If you want to cuddle, cuddle before sex, not after, because you know damn well he is going to fall asleep. And for people who think that he can just make the effort, it doesn't work that way. When you need sleep, you NEED sleep. Get over it.
Congrats on your pregnancy. As for your husband and most men sex is very relaxing which brings on the sleep mode. Wife you must be a sexual dynamo, wearing that man down like that, I mean putting him to sleep. You want to be held, wake him and ask for that hug or you can try snuggling close to him, to keep that feeling of satiety going.
uh..... ALL men do this - it's a chemical thing that they usually have little control over so don't take it personally. I'm married 22 years and he as well as nearly any other man I had ever been with before my husband did this too. IT's NORMAL. Poor guy, he's sexually exhausted!! lol Okay, so if you want him to cuddle, tell him that once you've done it once, he must hold you for a bit if he wants to go for a second round. That should work. If not, then tell him he isn't going to get any until he promises to cuddle afterwards. Make sure you stick to your guns.
The next time that you ask him for something and he doesn't do it, you need to start punishing him. Don't give him any sex, for maybe 3 months or so.

Are you guys having sex really late at night? Is he doing all the work? does he have to wake up early? Idk my husband and I both always fall asleep, cause we usually have sex late at night and we both get up early for work.
my hubby of 14 years has always fell asleep after sex its normal. if ive left the room for a moment and i walk back in and hes out, ill say hey i love ya or good night. hell respond lightly; that always makes me feel better. good luck : )

This happens to many men. It's chemical, and very hard to overcome. This is why many men use masturbation to help them sleep. (seriously!)
So to re-phrase your question Why are men well men. Cause that is how god made us.

Have him hold you BEFORE foreplay and intercourse that way you get what you want and he gets what he wants...

make love when you wake up in the morning instead of at night then he can get up and go to work instead of to sleep

it's actually a natural response. Orgasm causes the release of oxytocin which is the sleep hormone. His may be extremely Strong and difficult to fight. If your pregnant with twins your most likely having difficulty even having sex at this point. (LOL. My b/g twins are 4 months old now and we're still having trouble this time it's not my big belly in the way it the constant crying.)





On that note.. he can do things like get up and walk around, drink caffeine 30 or so minutes before sex. keep talking, etc.





He can cuddle you even if he falls asleep.. there is nothing broken about spooning as he drifts off... you can tell him that.
